CAI-set for FSX

The original Cambridge Aero Instruments set holds three instruments:

• GPS-NAV flight recorder
• L-NAV glide computer
• CAF vertical speed indicator

I must say I found it rather amusing to discover this set of gauges is still being used. It was originally build for FS98 and the latest release was in 2003 - and still works in FSX - but it really needed an update:

Download the FSX version of the CAI set (*.zip).
Download the FSX CAI Set User Guide (*.pdf).
Download the original CAI manuals for the GPS-NAV and L-NAV (*.pdf).

FSX Waypoints & Tasks Editor

To create and edit the waypoints files you might need an editor - so here's the FSX Waypoints & Tasks Editor:

Download the FSX Waypoints Editor (*.zip).
Download the FSX Waypoints Editor User Guide (*.pdf).
Download the Nederland.dat file (*.zip).
Download the Switzerland.dat file (*.zip).

Polar test set

To make full use of the CAI set you really need a way to retrieve the polar from the virtual glider. So I decided (a long time ago) to do something about it and designed a panel with some gauges to do just that...
To get the polar you need this panel:

Download the polar test gauge set (*.zip).
Download the FSX Polars User Guide (*.pdf).

To see the polars you need this viewer:
